Zdobyli liczne znaczące nagrody międzynarodowe, brali udział w prestiżowych wystawach i projektowali budynki mieszkalne i parki publiczne. W roku 2002 reprezentowali Szwajcarię na Biennale Architektury w Wenecji. Architektura Décosterd & Rahm określana bywa terminem architektury fizjologicznej. Multidyscyplinarna działalność biura umieszczona jest na skrzyżowaniu architektury, sztuki i nauki.
