Installed on Laznia’s facade, one of the billboards from the series Dread Visions. Constructed so as to resemble a commercial message, ironic and ambiguous in their “dread” (or maybe in fact dread) contents, the “visions” of the artist acquired new substance. The act of describing “the world immersed in chaos” by the protagonists of the middle–class dinner in the face of contemporary events uncovered, with new literalness, our inclination to mask the difficult reality with consumption, and our – and art’s – false engagement in the problems of others.
