Nida Art Colony calls for residency applications.
Deadline: February 15, 2013.
Two types of residencies are available: individual and thematic.
Individual Residencies: one to four months between June and December 2013;
no restrictions on the country of origin; no grants.
Thematic Residencies: Techno-ecologies - cultural, social and ecological sustainability through artistic explorations and cultural innovation;
2 months between March and December 2013; five grants (700 EUR/month, travel, studio, accommodation and production costs); applicants from all over the
world (Balkans and South America are especially welcome).
Thematic Residencies: Critical tourism - remote, picturesque contexts and their present “regeneration” through touristic and cultural policies;
2 months between March and December 2013; two grants (700 EUR/month, travel, studio, accommodation and production costs); applicants from Nordic-Baltic
countries, Switzerland and other non-EU countries (Balkans and South America are especially welcome).
Thematic residencies are supported by the EU Culture Programme, Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture,
Lithuanian Ministry of Culture, and Vilnius Academy of Arts.
