This summer Laznia is proud to present the third edition of summer video workshop. The first workshop had theoretical background which based on the departure from regular language of feature film. The aim was to point out the interesting effects one can achieve through breaking the basic rules of film construction. Last year’s second edition presented a fascinating panorama of contemporary video art and interactive installation. The classes were run by the author of IMPAKT Festival, Utrecht’s experimental film fest organized yearly for 20 years now. This year, the workshop is supposed to be way more practical. The instructor, FilipTomaszewski aka Zambari, will introduce the participants into more strictly technological dimension of creation, into the secrets of hardware and software used in the advanced editing of video material. The workshop will also cover specific VJ-ing techniques.
