An overview of artistic attitudes characteristic of the Gdańsk scene of the 1990s. The presented works exemplified those phenomena in the contemporary art of Gdańsk which related to the social contexts, public space and interpersonal relations. The artists reflected upon such issues as: the presence or absence of art in social reception, communication models in art, the ways of perceiving another person and collectivity, and also the question: What is the public space for the artist?
