Andrzej Dudziński is usually associated with the Dudi – blowzy flightless bird, contesting the reality of the PRL. However, CSW Łaźnia would like to focus on other characters created by the artist, probably more disturbing and less charming. We will submerge into the world of psychedelic phenomena, peculiar creatures led by sinister Pokrak, that balances between tragedy and comedy. At first glance the colorful and joyful works, after a longer analysis may evoke associations with the absurd and twisted nightmare. Together with the exhibition 'Eye to eye with the beast' we would like to present Dudziński as a versatile, defiant, playing with different conventions and styles, experimenting with different techniques artist. The visitors will find oil paintings, pasteles, and works employing author's own techniques, assemblages, envelopes. The exhibition will also be accompanied by film screenings and animation workshops led by the artist.
