PARAKINO invites Thorsten Fleisch, German artist of the young generation who is into experimental film and has won many prestigious awards. His works became the recurring events at film festivals. Fleisch’s art develops the strategies of American avant-garde and the material film. In an outrageous way, he operates within the context of meta-reflection on film. He analyses the relations of film with a great feeling for it and an awareness of the historical context. His film is at the same time an experiment, in full definition of the word, while the artist becomes a researcher looking for new ways of seeing, new images, new contexts.
