On 21st and 27th April 2011, in Łaźnia Center for Contemporary Art will take place the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of Totart Formation. This anarchistic artistic formation realized several hundreds of progressive actions of metaphysical and social character, since its beginning in 1986. It involved numerous important poets, musicians, painters, activists and the members of democratic opposition fighting with communist system in the 1980s. Among the distinguished members of Totart are such energetic artists as: Tymon Tymański, Darek Brzóska Brzóskiewicz, Lopez Mausere, Paulus Mazur and Paweł Konjo Konnak.
Events planned for the celebrations:

7 p.m. – promotion of the book Artyści. Wariaci. Anarchiści. Opowieść o gdańskiej alternatywie lat 80. and author’s meeting with Krzysztof Skiba and Jarosław Janiszewski, as the part of “Mistics. Writers. Madmen.” cycle.
27.04. 2011
. At 12 a.m. – morning scientific conference. Among the invited lecturers are:
- Janusz Waluszko – the co-founder of Alternative Society movement and Peace and Freedom movement; lecture on metaphysical and social opposition of the 1980s.
- Jadwiga Charzyńska – the director of “Łaźnia” Center for Contemporary Art in Gdańsk; lecture on expressive artists of 1980s working with Totart.
- Maciej Chmiel – lecture on the independent music scene of Martial Law in Poland period.
- Małgorzata Kraszewska – the author of the work “Totart Pierwszej Generacji”; lecture on Totart actions in the context of the activity of Fluksus
3 p.m. Presentation of monographic films by Paweł Konjo Konnak – “Totart czyli przemyślność domokrążcy”, “Galeria C14”, “Totart nad miastem”, “Riff – Tymon Tymański” and by Darek Gajewski “Nie bój, nie bój”
7 p.m. Evening multimedia action:
- Concert of Tymon i Transistors and Bielizna
- Poets of Totart – Darek Brzóska Brzóskiewicz, Lopez Mausere, Maciek Ruciński, Paweł Paulus Mazur
- Whole project will be led by Krzysztof Skiba and Paweł Konjo Konnak
