Krzysztof Skiba – song writer, satirist, entertainer, TV showman, essayist, happenings' creator, rock singer.
He was a leader during Orange Alternative movement in 80s as well as an organizer of many happenings and street actions at that time. He is a song writer for a band called Big Cyc [Big Tit] with whom he’s recorded 15 records. He produced 2 solo albums.
He hosted and co-hosted many TV shows for example Lalamido, czyli porykiwania szarpidrutów (TVP2). He is also a journalist. During PRL (People's Republic of Poland) he published in Polish underground press (“second circulation”). He wrote feuilletons and satirical pieces for newspapers such as “Gazeta Wyborcza”, and also for “brulion”, “Tygodnik Literacki”, “Lampa”, “B-1”. Since 2005 he publishes in a student magazine “dlaczego”, and in Wirtualna Polska since 2006. Since 2002 he is a permanent writer for a weekly published magazine “Wprost”. His articles from “Wprost” have been published in a book Against the wall with Skiba in 2005. In June 2009 his satirical stories were printed as Underwater stories.
