In 2004 New Art Union (newart.org.ge) published a catalogue of Georgian video art at Expo Art Kavkaz, entitled “Moving Reality”. The curators were Rusiko Oat and Iliki Zautashvili. The idea came up when artists Georgia started to use video and new media on a broader scale. In the 1990s a group of Georgian artists focused on video as an artistic form of expression more intensively so they created one of the crucial trends in contemporary Georgian art. This video-catalogue was the first document presenting directions in Georgian video art.
