In September, we are going to hold a film animation workshop focused on video mapping. This technique involves projecting a specially prepared animated image onto any object or architectural element.
The screening equipment is perfectly suited to create “paintings” using light – if the scale of the endeavour is appropriate. This is why our workshop will be held in the main exhibition room of ŁAŹNIA 2 CCA. It will serve as the prelude to a video mapping exhibition, showcasing animations and installations created by the participants. The official opening of the exhibition will take place on 21 September 2018.
The main part of the workshop is scheduled for 15–16 September: these two days will be used to plan the exhibition concept and prepare most of the projections. Between 17 and 20 September, interested participants will be able to improve and finetune their mappings. The best ones will be included in the mapping exhibition as independent projections. There are also plans to create a single mapping composition that would showcase all films created during the workshop.

The workshop is open to everyone who has an interest in animation. Prior video mapping experience is not required.
