Dubauskas Kipras
Kipras Dubauskas lives and works in Vilnius. He graduated from the sculpture department at Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts in 2010 and the faculty of visual arts at the Ghent Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 2013. His works are inspired by poetic urban practice and psychogeography, using the media of film and sculpture, and often resulting in collaborative and transdisciplinary activities. Dubauskas was one of the founders of an independent art and food initiative Delta Mityba as well as a former Artkore Project Space in Vilnius. Selected list of his projects include solo shows at ExElettrofonica gallery in Rome (2016) and Attent, Rotterdam (2012), group shows A million lines at Bunkier Sztuki Contemporary Art Gallery, Krakow (2015), Words aren’t the thing, Contemporary Art Centre, Vilnius (2015); Wild Horses and Trojan Dreams, at Marres Centre for Contemporary Culture, Maastricht (2013).
