A Cultural and Media Anthropologist and Film and Cinema Theorist with a background in documentary filmmaking and film restoration.

 

She is Research Fellow with Transtechnology Research, University of Plymouth, and Associate Editor for Leonardo Reviews. She is undertaking historical research in order to situate the metaphysical dimensions of technology and art within discourses of the philosophy of mind with a focus on the perceptual experience of audio-visual media.

 

She is currently co-investigating the EU HERA project “Technology, Exchange and Flow: Artistic Media Practices and Commercial Application”.
