Grudzień Jacek
He debuted in 1983 at the International Festival of Contemporary Music “Warsaw Autumn”. At the time, he was studying composition with prof. Włodzimierz Kotoński and piano improvisation with Szabolsc Esztenyi at Warsaw Academy of Music. In 1986 he received a post-graduate fellowship in London, funded by Witold Lutosławski. He is a laurate of the 1988 Polish Young Composers Competition and the 1995 Polish Nationwide Competition for a Classical Guitar Composition. In 2003, his composition “Ad Naan” was a recommended work at the International Composers' Rostrum in Vienna. His compositional interests also include film and theater scores. Currently, he collaborates with Polish Radio’s Experimental Studio.
