„Sound Draw: audio composition with visual gestures” workshop will focus on an application that processes graphics into sound. Balázs Kovács has created the application in the years 2011-12. Participants of the workshop will have the opportunity to learn how to use the visual listening system. The workshop will end with a concert featuring the artist and the participants.

Balázs Kovács –Hungarian sound artist and performer. He creates site-specific installations and audio works which mainly rely on technology and cultural background. His output connects sound art with kinetic installations and network solutions. Balázs Kovács alias Xrc is a teacher and co-founder of the Media and Applied Arts at the University of Pécs.
