LAZNIA 1 2006 - UNDER THE SHOWER OF ART - Bogdan Banasiak NOMADOLOGY - A WANDERING THOUGHT

A wandering thought is characterised by ‘nomadic distribution’, which is about filling up space, distributing oneself in it and not dividing it. Thus it is something of a ‘crowning anarchy’, which means the absence of arche, organising rules, as well as the absence of a priori order. This absence of a model, the central place, makes the system acentric, created by divergent series of elements. It does not constitute a hierarchic, permanent territory but it consists in deterritorisation, incessant movement, and territory abandonment characteristic of nomads.
