Alexei Borisov started his musical career as guitarist in a new wave band and in 1985 co-founded the techno-industrial Notchnoi Prospekt active until present. As an experimental artist in the field of digital music he cooperates with musicians, performers, video and multimedia artists. Sounds produced by Borisov are a combination of improvised micro- and macronoises, musique concrète, open air recordings and vocal and rhythm elements. On stage, Borisov will use a variety of analogue equipment (synthesizer and theremin, mobile dictaphone, tape recorder, adapters, microphone and converters) and digital machines (laptop, MP3 and CD player and phrase sampler). All these elements are connected to a mixer which is also used as an instrument.
The concert will be accompanied with the film “Diploma Reward Ceremony” (ca. 45’).
