Dan Senn (born in 1951 in the U.S.) is an American artist working in intermedia art, a composer of experimental music, performer, and creator of kinetic-acoustic sculptures and videos. He studied music at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where in 1985 he earned a doctorate in musical composition. He has worked as a professor at several universities in the United States. He has exhibited multimedia installations in the field of kinetic-acoustic sculpture, video art and performance in numerous galleries and museums around the world. In 2006 he had a solo exhibition entitled Uncovered states in the Galeria AT in Poznań. He lives and works in the U.S. and in Prague. He has maintained a long-term collaboration with Caroline Daniel, an Australian pianist and composer of avant-garde piano, dance and choir music.
