He is a Chicago-based improviser, who composes and performs experimental electronic music.

 

Presently, he performs on a modular synthesizer, but he also uses a number of other sound sources, including acoustic instruments, digital manipulating, field recordings, and self-made devices to explore various forms of expression. He performs both as a soloist and with various groups of improvisational and experimental musicians from the Chicago and Japanese scenes.

 

He is the organiser of the Myopic Improvised Music Series and the Protest Series at Heaven Gallery in Chicago. He is also the founder of the experimental Peira label.
