Kahlen Wolf
Intermedia artist focusing mainly on video, performer, architect, Professor at Technische Universität in Berlin.
He participated in more than 600 solo and collective exhibitions. Founder of Videoforum in Berlin (1970/71), ADA I and II (Avant-garde Actions with Wolf Vostell and Jörn Merkert, 1973 and 1974). Since 1984 – architect and director of Ruine der Künste in Berlin.
One of the influential figures of the video context, he cooperated with the renowned artists since the very beginning of the existence of video in technological sense. At the same time, he kept on drawing his own, independent path of art and career. Many of his works are involved in the case of Tibet, providing a specific ethnic documentation.
