The artist is scheduled to present a few of his latest painting cycles. They are a specific narrative on modernity, time and memory. Each work develops in time and most of them are unfinished the paintings are constantly updated with new layers of paint revealing iconic depictions of our civilisation entwined with the artist’s private history. The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci is contrasted against a scene from the Pokémon movie. The artist draws on well-known narratives from the media and history books, by gathering photographs from people named Józefowicz he creates a fictional story about his family, while in the other cycle he challenges the habits of the painter’s perception.
