Comic books by artists from China, South Korea and Venezuela

 

Bon Won Koo (South Korea), Rong Rong Luo (China), Hye Jeong Lim (South Korea), and Angela Moreno (Venezuela) are young artists who met at the Faculty of Manga at Seika University in Kyoto. They were brought together by their passion for creating sequential art. Their creations constitute a unique cultural blend made up of the aesthetic values and experience brought from their home countries, as well as the knowledge and skills gained in Japan. The overlapping of various cultural influences is visible in both the graphic and the narrative layer of their works.
