The exhibition of the concluding part of the two-year project Re:Location/Shake. Shake project focused on the attempts to work out the new ones and to strengthen the already existing ways of communication between the artists, the art institutions and the audience. Shake put in the limelight the viewesr (audience) and their role and position in defining the work of art and its reception. Its main issues concerned the exceptionality of the reception of contemporary art and the mechanism of perception. Within its framework, art is defined foremost as “a public service”, and the art institution is interpreted in the sociological context.
