Malte Cornelius Jantzen works with magnetic tape to completely disembowel musical structures, only to put them back together into longform compositions. Music as reduction. Reduction of music as music. Music as architecture.
Last year saw his two-part debut release via the mysterious Low Perspective label, and earlier this year he teamed up with René Margraff for a split on Second Editions. MCJ gave selected performances in e.g. Berlin, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Prag, Reykjavik, Glasgow and London.
