We invite you to a meeting with artist Unai Reglero from CALDODECULTIVO collective (www.caldodecultivo.com), together with the presentation of the video “BLACK VENUS PROTEST”, filmed as a part of the artistic residency in LAZNIA CCA. The residency is a part of “Artecitya” project (http://artecitya.eu/), funded by the Creative Europe 2014-2020 program.

BLACK VENUS PROTEST is a project of CALDODECULTIVO built with the complicity of a group of Polish women activists, who during this month of August have developed a series of performances / protests in various places of the city of Gdansk, which is now presented as a video that shows the experience.

CALDODECULTIVO about the project:

‘Nowadays, women’s security, sexuality, and reproductive rights are in stake not only in Poland but around the world. There is a war against female bodies lead by far right politicians and religious leaders, although it is not war fought by guns but through “democratic means” it is not less violent. Inspired by the Black Protest and the Women Strike this project’s objective is to create small groups of protest that interrupt the daily life and the public space making present the struggle for the rights of women.’
