This year’s edition of the Long Night of Museums falls on 21 May. Both branches of the Łaźnia CCA have prepared special events to mark this day – and night. Apart from temporary exhibitions, visitors will be able to take part in educational activities, concerts, film screenings and many other events (full list below).

5 p.m. – 5.30 p.m. TransPORT: a performative site-specific presentation. Danish artist Tanja Nellemann Poulsen’s project is focused on the subject of refugees and migration in the historical and contemporary view. A series of workshops for a group of lower secondary school students from the 2nd Primary and Lower Secondary Community School Complex STO, conducted in cooperation with writer Barbara Piórkowska and teachers Anna Warzecha and Emilia Senczyszyn-Karolewicz, resulted in a catalogue of stories on migration, longing and the general human need to move in search of better living and working conditions, social and political welfare.
