Within the series „In Progress” during festival AMBIENT – International Musical Presentations – on the 10th of July 2015 Pieter Nooten will present his show.

AMBIENT is an annual event that presents ambitious electronic music. The idea behind the event is to present a wider audience with what is happening in the contemporary ambient electronic music. Concerts are often accompanied by visuals prepared by the artists.

 

At the end of the first day of the festival the audience will have a chance to see music legend  - Pieter Nooten - Dutch composer, vocalist and keyboardist, associated initially with a group of Clan of Xymox. He took part in composing and recording the first three albums of the band. Next to Lisa Gerrard, Brendan Perry, the bands "This Mortal Coil", "Dead Can Dance" and others, he is a co-founder of 4AD sound. After leaving the band, with guitarist Michael Brook, he recorded the album “Sleeps With The Fishes: which consisted of both premiere songs and familiar repertoire Nooten’s original group.
