LAZNIA 1 2012 - ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAMME

Laznia CCA inaugurated Artists-in-Residence programme in 2011. Programme addressed to creators specializing in New Media art and public space projects. Length of artists’ residency varies between few weeks and few months. Artists will be chosen in the international contest. Our programme is also open for curators who will have an opportunity to come to Gdansk for residency to familiarize themselves with local artists.
First artist in the programme was Ahmet Dogan from France staying in Gdansk from September to November 2011 His residency was organized in cooperation with Strasbourg in terms of residency exchange. At the same time Dominika Skutnik from Gdansk stayed in Strasbourg.
In 2012 as a part of the Artists in Residence programme Patrick Bognier will stay in Gdansk and Dorota Walentynowicz in Strasbourg. Patrick Bognier starts his residency in March 2012.
