The lecture will be devoted in the first place to the new interpretation of the concept of potentiality as developed by Giorgio Agamben. Starting from this point, the Author will expose how the new understanding of potentiality can be applied to discussing art. Examples from literature will serve as subject for analysis, namely chosen texts of Robert Walser, Samuel Beckett and Maurice Blanchot.

 

The lecture is organized in cooperation with Korporacja Ha!Art and the periodical "Krytyka Polityczna".
