This German sound artist focuses on urban-cultural-social themes. Meissner's entire oeuvre, from clicks and cuts and ironic pieces to profoundly serious works touching on historical and political themes, draws high critical praise as evidenced by the numerous invitations he receives to perform at festivals and at the world's foremost contemporary art centres.
He has performed at Transmediale in Berlin and the Festival of Jewish Culture in Kraków, and has recorded for labels like Mille Plateaux, Kompakt and Sub Rosa.
