Born in Nablus in 1974.

 

He graduated in 1998 from An Najah University, Nablus, with a BA in Fine Arts. He has participated in group exhibitions in Palestine, Europe, Japan, the US and the Arab world. In 2006, he was selected for a residency at Gasworks International Residency Programme in London. He is a founder member of a  artist-run gallery space in Ramallah: Al Mahatta. Lives and works in Ramallah.

Asad in his works often examines a natural landscape of contemporary dwellers, man’s interaction with the multitude of experiences and forms encountered in the city’s daily life and all it encompasses; the speed, movement, traffic, maps.
