Simon Finn (b. 1951) came to London in 1967. Three years later he had his first performance as a support for Al Stewart at the Marquee during Wednesday Folk Night. By early 1969, he had already prepared a set of his own songs which he presented to Vick Keary. The album "Pass the Distance" was released on Mushroom Records in 1970; It was re-released a few years ago by Durtro, the label of Current 93. In 1974, Finn emigrated to Canada where he taught martial arts and ran an organic farm for many years. In 2004 he returned to professional music-making. Since then, he performed in many cities of Europe, USA and Canada. He played with Thurston Moore, Graham Coxon, Antony and the Johnsons, Current 93, Diz Dizzly, Bert Jansch and Al Stewart among others.
